The school opened its brand new, purpose built building in September 2015. The building was designed and built with the needs of children and young people with autism very much in mind and boasts superb specialist facilities including an immersive technology room, soft play and sensory room. Specialist curriculum areas include art, music, food technology, design technology and computing. Outdoor areas have designated sensory spaces, an outdoor gym, climbing and play areas as well as a ball court and general courtyard space.
The new school building is fully DDA compliant and meets all the latest statutory requirements. As regulations change an Accessibility Plan will be developed to meet any changing regulations and guidance.
